Word 3.01 -  graphics and fast scrolling - if your Word document contains complex graphics and you plan to do a bit of editing after competition of the document, create a special Graphics style for each graphic and include Hidden as one of its characteristics.  Be sure to set Show Hidden Text to OFF in the Preferences menu.  After editing and before printing or repagination redefine your graphics style by cancelling the hidden option.
